Tart BasePrint Recipe
- Hobnobs 90g equates to 6 hobnobs
- Oats 50g
- Margarine 100g
- Walnuts 50g
- Cinnamon 1 teaspoon (optional)
Melt the margarine in a medium saucepan on a low heat. Put all other ingredients into a blender and form a powder. Now mix the powdered ingredients into the melted butter pan and combine together with a spatular. Turn off the heat and stir until completely combined. Transfer the mixture into a tart tin with a removable base and when the mixture is cool enough to touch, begin to press the tart mixture into the corners of the tin spreading it evenly all over with a small amount coming over the edge of the tin that can be trimmed later.
Place the tart in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before inserting your chosen filling.
