Carrot Cake PorridgePrint Recipe
- 1 cup of oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 a medium sized carrot grated (extra for decoration)
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1 cup cashew milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup rasins
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
Add oats and spices into pan on a low heat and stir then allow them to toast for 1 minute.
Add in the ground flaxseed, cashew milk and water and stir. Allow to simmer on a medium heat for 5 minutes.
Now add everything else into the pan: Syrup, raisins and carrot then stir and simmer for 10 minutes on a low heat.
Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. Enjoy!
