Smokey Tater Tots

Tater tots are amazing! Tasty, crunchy, awesomeness! These simple to make tater tots will be a real winner with friends and family.

Smokey Tater Tots

Serves: 3-4 Cooking Time: 1 hour


  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 Tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tsp onion salt



Peel 3 medium potatoes and set to one side. Boil a pan of water and add 3 potatoes to the water boiling for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain. Set the pan to one side and allow the potatoes to cool for 3 mins until cool enough to grate. Grate on the large hole of the grater into a large mixing bowl.


Add 1 tablespoon of flour along with the smoked paprika and onion salt. stir to combine.


Using a table spoon, spoon the mixture on to a perforated baking sheet. Brush the tots with a thin coating of your choice of oils and place in a preheated over for 40 mins on 180 degrees. Check that they are crispy and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying with your favourite dips!
